Official release of the hubs

What are hubs?

With our hubs, you can create dashboards with various elements such as links, images, texts & more. Using hubs, you can set up an intranet for your employees or share important links & information with your customers.

How do I create a hub?

Creating hubs in Learning is very easy. Just head to the “Hubs” tab in the left sidebar and create your first hub there by adding a name and description. In the second step, you then have the option to use a template.

Templates can be created by yourself:
Under the new “Templates” tab, you can now create your own templates. For example, you can create a customer hub template for one of your customers and reuse it for other customers.

List order can be defined for hubs:
To give you an even better overview of your hubs, we've added a sorting order. There, you can define the position of your hub in the sidebar as a number between -999 and +999. The hubs with the lowest number are always shown first.

Status display in the hub list:
We've now also added status information to the hub list. There you will be shown 3 statuses:

  1. Draft: Appears when the hub hasn't been published yet and members can't see the hub.
  2. Live: Appears when the latest version of the hub is released.
  3. Unsaved Changes: Is displayed when there are unpublished changes in the hub that users do not yet see.

New widget: Spotify integration
With the Spotify widget, you can easily share your podcast or playlist with your members.

Hubs are no longer in beta:
We've optimised all widgets. They are now perfectly responsive for all device types. The creation and editing of widgets in hubs has also been optimised.

Editor improvements

The audio player has a new design:
The audio player in the editor has received a new design. This offers significantly more space for the title than before and always looks just perfect - even on mobile devices.

Image gallery improvements:
In the image gallery, it is now possible to click on a photo and thus open a slider where you can take a closer look at the images. From there, you can switch back and forth between photos and zoom in and out to better see relevant details in the image.

New user management in the course

Initial content approval for users:
You now have the option to activate specific modules for individual users. Using this feature, you can give customers who have been imported or transferred from another platform direct access to modules that have already been activated or respond individually to specific customer requests.

Add bundles, groups directly in the course:
You can now add groups and bundles directly to the course. Just click on the appropriate tab.

Settings

Default language can now be set:
If your default customer language is not German but English, you can now change the language under Settings --> MyLearningSuite. As a result of this change, the initial login details are automatically sent out in the selected language and this language is selected by default for each user.

Color settings and modes of the platform
From now on, you can set whether your instance should be displayed in dark, or light mode by default. You can also specify that your customers can only use your instance in dark, or light mode.
